China's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) has confirmed the range of cold rolled steel products under current anti-dumping investigation.
In a statement released Friday, the MOFTEC excluded the products for making tinplate from the anti-dumping investigation.
The MOFTEC made the confirmation on the request of target enterprises and concerned parties.
If China takes temporary or permanent anti-dumping measures against the steel products after investigation, importers of products for making tinplate can register with the MOFTEC and be given authenticated documents, which will allow the products to pass through Chinese customs without anti-dumping measures, the MOFTEC said.
The ministry issued a statement on March 23 this year, announcing a decision to conduct anti-dumping investigation on imported cold rolled steel products made in Russia, Republic of Korea, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Taiwan.
