North China's Hebei Province will offer 1,500-odd projects for overseas investment at the upcoming Hebei Economic and Trade Fair, to be held in Langfang from May 18 to 22.
According to provincial government officials, these projects cover technological updates, agriculture, infrastructure, new and high technology, and manufacturing.
They said that more than 6,000 foreign businessmen attended the previous 18 sessions of the fair, which resulted in the signing of more than 4,300 contracts involving foreign investment worth nearly US$10 billion.
A province bordering Beijing and Tianjin, Hebei has economic and trade ties with over 100 countries and regions worldwide.
