Over 75,000 Chinese tourists are expected to visit Thailand during the Chinese New Year Festival, according to a report of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Sunday.
The report said with the projected Chinese arrivals, the two-day celebration was expected to help the country earn about 400 million baht (US$9 million) tourism revenues.
Various activities will be organized to celebrate the festival in the China Town area of Bangkok, with the display of the world' s longest golden dragon, 700 meters long and 1.30 meter wide, to be the highlight.
