Police in this southwestern China municipality have confiscated 63.2 kilograms of marijuana, believed to be the single largest amount seized in the city, and arrested four suspects for trafficking in the drug.

The police raided a car parked in front of the local zoo last Friday evening, detaining Li Ge and Liang Chongqing, who were selling marijuana from the car.

On information from Li, the police rushed to a nearby tea house, and nabbed Li Qiang, the boss, five minutes later. Li Qiang confessed that he was to meet Zhang Xudong, his "business partner," at another tea house. There, Zhang was arrested.

The police found a total of 57.2 kilograms of marijuana in Li Qiang's and Zhang's houses.

It is learned that Li Ge, Li Qiang and Zhang Xudong had been fellow prisoners.
