40 Anti-dumping Investigations Launched

China has launched a total of 40 anti-dumping investigations against import products since 1997.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, 75 percent of the cases are against imported chemical products.

The ministry says that trade remedy mechanisms are applied by most countries to protect their national industries and also in accordance with World Trade Organization principles. It says Chinese enterprises should learn more about international trade principles to protect themselves.
