A group of Chinese and Indian software entrepreneurs held a round-table meeting in Beijing on Thursday to discuss cooperation.
The National Association of Software and Service Companies of India and 26 leading Indian software companies held in-depth talks with leaders of 40 Chinese software companies.
The meeting was held by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Ministry of Information Industry.
China and India have complementary advantages in a range of areas including software technology, human resources, customer service experience and corporate management, said an official with the NDRC, China's economic planning agency.
China expects to strengthen cooperation in software and IT service sectors with India for mutual benefit, said the official.
