The Autumn Beijing House Exhibition kicked off Thursday, with 77 housing projects represented at the event. At the same time, the Beijing Municipal Construction Commission has issued a brochure on property prices.
The commission says the book is the first authorized publication providing official guidelines to house buyers and investors. The handbook is based on information collected on property and building prices in various districts in Beijing. The figures are taken from the first half of the year.
Participating projects at the Autumn fair is almost double that of the Summer fair, which had only showcased 40 developments. But house prices remained generally the same. Autumn is also known as the "golden season for real estates" in China.
