Japanese automaker Toyota announced over the weekend it would recall a total of 1,913 cars in China due to problems with their brake signals.
The move was part of its worldwide recall of about 250,000 Lexus RX300 series with the brake signal problem, Toyota said.
It would inform its Chinese consumers with details about the recall and replace the signals for free, the company said.
