Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. announced Sunday it planned to distribute cash dividends of 1.2 yuan (US$0.14) for every 10 shares for the first half of 2004.

The company will start to distribute the dividends Nov. 24, which are based on the total share capital of 456.699 million shares in the six-month period.
