FAW Car, a unit of China's largest vehicle maker First Automotive Works, has reported a 52.7 percent slump in third-quarter net profit to 86.7 million yuan (US$10.47 million) as sales slowed sharply.
Total revenues at FAW, which makes Japan's Mazda 6 model in China, fell 40.8 percent year on year to 1.87 billion yuan in the three-month period.
