China now has 75 creditable shopping streets, which have won national approval.
The new measure, put forward by the China State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision (CSBTS), aims to encourage the development of more creditable shops.
"This method will increase the quality of Chinese goods and regulate the market order. We hope to lead consumption behaviors and serve the good companies," said Li Chuanqing, director of CSBTS.
These streets have set examples of creating a favorable shopping environment for consumers. The shops in these streets will ensure the quality of goods and after-sale services.
Li said, more streets will be chosen this year to satisfy the customers.
