Twelve people were killed and six others injured at a funeral after an earth mound that served as a dias collapsed in central China's Henan Province on Thursday morning, a local official said.

The accident occurred at about 9:40 AM in Zhouzhuang village in Taiqian County, Puyang.

Among the six who were hurt, three suffered serious injuries.
