Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing met Nalin Surie, Indian ambassador to China, in Beijing on Thursday.
They exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern, as well as regards and good wishes from the two countries' leaders to each other, sources with Chinese Foreign Ministry said.
"China is willing to unswervingly push forward the friendly-neighbor and mutual beneficial cooperative ties with India," Li said, noting that this year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Indian diplomatic ties.
