Participants at the 2005 Bo'ao Forum for Asia have held a round table meeting on China's peaceful rise and the country's new role in Asia in the southern island province of Hainan.
All participants agreed that China's peaceful development has brought opportunities for Asia and the international community.
Secretary-General of the Forum, Long Yongtu briefed that China's development has contributed to the integration of the Asian economy.
Vice Chairman of Nepal's Council of Ministers Kirti Nidhi Bista says that Asia will benefit from China's economic growth, and further development will bring more stability to the region.
He also says that China's foreign policy and the country's drive for friendly cooperation set an example for all Asian countries.
