China will soon resume exports of cooked poultry meat to Japan.
China's State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine says it is now in negotiations with the Japanese side, and substantial progress has been made.
Before that, Japan had resumed importing canned and bottled poultry meat, preserved eggs and other poultry products from China.
Hong Kong has agreed to resume importing frozen poultry meat from designated mainland poultry farms and processing plants from March 23rd.
Some countries including the Republic of Korea and Singapore have already resumed the import of cooked poultry meat from the Chinese mainland.
