A delegation of Tibetan studies scholars and Living Buddhas left Saturday for Spain to pay a visit and attend the Parliament of the World's Religions there.
The delegation, organized by the Chinese Association for Cultural Exchanges with Foreign Countries, will kick off its visit to Spain on July 4 and attend the Parliament of the World's Religions scheduled to be held in Barcelona from July 10 to 12.
During the visit, the delegation will hold forums and press conference to introduce Tibetan history and today, inheritance and development of Tibetan culture, Tibetan culture and Buddhism, and reincarnation of living Buddhas.
Headed by Li Guoqing, vice president of China Advanced Institute of Tibetan Buddhism, the delegation includes scholars from China National Center for Tibetan Studies and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Living Buddhas from the Tibet Autonomous Region.
