The agenda was adopted at Wednesday's meeting of the chairman and vice-chairpersons of the NPC Standing Committee, presided over by Wu Bangguo, chairman of the committee.

Lawmakers will continue to deliberate draft laws on road and transportation safety, and on security investment funds.

Amendments to the central bank law and commercial bank law, and a draft law on the supervision and management of banking will also be tabled.

Also during the session, the State Council will deliver reports on employment and reemployment, on small cities construction and the transfer of rural workers, and on protecting the rights of the elderly.
