Adding another ingredient to the global recipe of his latest film, Woody Allen has drafted Aussie Nicole Kidman into the cast.
The Oscar-winning actress joins Spaniard Antonio Banderas, India's Freida Pinto, British-Australian Naomi Watts, American Josh Brolin and Welshman Anthony Hopkins in the as-yet-untitled project.
Shooting is scheduled to start in London in the summer. As usual with Allen films, the plot is a closely guarded secret.
Allen returns to theaters on June 19 with "Whatever Works" on June 19. The film, which stars Evan Rachel Wood and Larry David, opens New York's Tribeca Film festival on April 22.
Kidman most recently starred in Baz Luhrmann's "Australia." She will next appear in Rob Marshall's musical "Nine" for the Weinstein Co. in November.
