Did they duet or didn't they, that's the question fans of Chris Brown and Rihanna are asking now.
Earlier in the day, CNN confirmed via an unnamed source that the singers sang together in a new recording.
Now, however, People.com is saying just the opposite, with yet another unnamed source.
"Contrary to published reports, Chris Brown and Rihanna did not record a duet after the incident," a source told People.
The report goes on to explain that the song thought to be the duet was actually just a demo recording of a song ultimately recorded by the Pussycat Dolls called, "Bad Girl."
"Nothing has been recorded by Chris and Rihanna since February," the source told People.
This isn't the first story to surface about the pair working together since her violent beating last month. A story about the two writing a book about abusive relationships also made the circuit recently, which later proved to be false.
The two made headlines in February when Rihanna, 21, was allegedly beaten by her boyfriend, 19-year-old Brown. The two have reportedly reunited since, and Brown is facing felony charges over the assault.
