Amy Winehouse is moving to Jamaica.

The "Rehab" singer - who has been staying in the Caribbean island of St Lucia since December to overcome her drug problems - wants to avoid "bad influences" in London and record her long-awaited third album in Jamaica, the home of late reggae legend Bob Marley.

A source said: "Amy is having the time of her life in St Lucia and doesn't want it to end. She's looking and feeling so much better and is worried about the bad influences waiting for her back in London. She's written a big chunk of her new album and has told bosses she wants to go to Jamaica to record it."

Amy's label Island Records seem happy to allow her to record the LP on the idyllic island, but are concerned about how easily accessible drugs are in Jamaica.

The source continued to Britain’s The Sun newspaper: "They are keen to accommodate her as long as she keeps getting better and carries on working."

Amy - who has had problems with crack cocaine, heroin and alcohol abuse - will reportedly fly back to London this month before heading back to the Caribbean.
