Scarlett Johansson was "happy" she kept her marriage to Ryan Reynolds a secret.
"The Spirit" star - who wed actor Ryan in a low-profile ceremony in September - is thrilled she managed to tie the knot away from the public spotlight.
She told the Los Angeles Times newspaper: "It was my mission to have a moment of privacy, to do something for myself. I was happy with the results of that."
Scarlett says she spent all summer planning the intimate nuptials, which took place at a remote resort near Vancouver, Canada.
The 24-year-old blonde beauty also insists she isn't worried about getting older because it will help her land more challenging movie roles.
She explained: "I look forward to the opportunity ageing will bring. I feel like the hype that comes with being young in the industry will kind of dissipate and that there are some really good roles in my future.
"Then again, I say that as an actor who thinks every job is their last job."
Scarlett also revealed she admires her "He's Just Not That Into You" co-star Drew Barrymore and hopes to follow in her footsteps by enjoying a lengthy movie career.
She explained: "Drew makes movies that she likes, that she is proud of, that people love, that are entertaining.
"I would love to be able to do that someday, have a production company and encourage other directors and writers to follow their vision."
