The 22nd movie of the '007' series, 'Quantum of Solace' will make its Chinese debut on November 5, whilst audiences in North America have to wait until November 14 to enjoy James Bond's new adventure.

The Nanfang Daily reported on Tuesday that the movie's world premiere was originally set for November 7, but the distribution company changed their plan because potential competitor, the latest in the 'Harry Potter' series, suddenly announced they were to postpone their debut to July 2009.
The movie will hit Chinese theatres two days earlier than planned as distributors want to avoid fierce competition during the so-called 'New Year Session', a traditionally busy period during which many new movies are released and audiences crowd to theaters.
The 21st movie of '007' series, 'Casino Royale', grossed 120 million yuan in China, despite criticism of actor Daniel Craig's suitability for the role. Industry insiders expect the latest '007' movie to be another box office hit.
