Qianlong's treasures to go under hammer

Part of the scroll of "Dayue Tu, Emperor Qianlong's Review of the Grand Parade of Troops" is shown at a preview by auction house Sotheby's in Hong Kong on August 26, 2008, ahead of its autumn sale in October. The scroll is expected to fetch in excess of US$10 million.

The most memorable section of the Olympic Closing Ceremony was the magical Memory Tower. I saw it as some kind of Tower of Babel, a temporary symbol of united humanity together in the stadium.
