After her successful China debut in Shanghai last August, Canadian pop star Avril Lavigne returns on a six-city tour in September and October, part of her worldwide "The Best Damn Tour 2008."

The China leg will start on September 26 in Macau, followed up by Shenzhen in Guangdong Province on September 28, Chengdu in Sichuan Province on September 30, Lijiang in Yunnan Province on October 2, Shanghai on October 4 and Beijing on October 6.

The Shanghai concert will be at the Shanghai Stadium with ticket prices averaging around 300 yuan (US$44).

Lavigne's tour kicked off on March 5 in Victoria, Canada. It featured sophisticated stage settings and hit songs from the singer's previous three albums such as Innocence, Keep Holding On and Forgotten.
