Compared to the more avant garde arts presented by Hong Kong artists, Macao's artists take a more conventional approach. Their style and talent cannot be denied.

Heidi Ho, director of the Macao's Cultural Affairs Bureau, notes that the Macao's Historical Center was inaugurated into the World Heritage List in 2005.

That has helped Macao to gain much recognition from around the world for the diversity of its cultures. She hopes people in Beijing will learn to appreciate the work by Macao artists. The works are tokens of best wishes and support for the Beijing Olympic Games.
