At a charity event on Saturday the Hong Kong singer Vivian Chow donated a coat and a bag that she had used during her first poverty-relief tour. The coat and bag will be auctioned to raise money for charity, the China News Service reports.
In April, Vivian went to the poverty-stricken areas of southwest China's Yunnan Province as an ambassador of Oxfam Hong Kong, an NGO specializing in the fight against poverty.
At Saturday's event she showed photos from her Yunnan trip to the audience members.
Vivian says that she takes two overseas charity trips each year, and her next stop will be India, a place where few Hong Kong artists have gone.
