After two months of intense preparation, the French opera Le Roi d'Ys successfully finished its first rehearsal at the National Center for the Performing Arts on the afternoon of April 1. Also, 13 tons of water poured onto the stage brought the rehearsal to a climax.
The classic French opera "Le Roi d'Ys" will run from April the 3rd to the 6th at Beijing's National Center for the Performing Arts. It will also be the opening piece for the three-month Festival Croisements, which will present nearly 100 shows and exhibitions featuring French artists collaborating with Chinese artists from 18 cities in China.
