President Hu Jintao has visited injured quake survivors in temporary tent wards by a hospital in Longnan city, in northwest China's Gansu Province.

He also talked with Chinese medical workers and a team of medics from Pakistan. Hu Jintao then left for Wudu District in Longnan to direct relief work.
