A group of injured survivors from the earthquake have been brought to Beijing from Mianzhu, in Sichuan Province.

The 91 injured quake-survivors spent over 30 hours travelling a distance of 2000 kilometers by train to come to Beijing. Special measures were taken to ensure their safety during the trip, including a doctor to accompany each patient.
120 Emergency Chief Zhang Yongli said, "This is a special stretcher that we use. And we have all the necessary equipment we need inside the ambulance."
Yao HOngren, spokesman of Beijing West Railway Station, said, "It only takes 3 or 4 minutes to get from the train to the station exit."
