The China Seismological Bureau reported no aftershocks measuring above magnitude 4 from noon on Monday to noon on Tuesday. But there were 226 tremors measuring less than 3.9 on the Richter Scale.
Donations from home and abroad have reached 32.7 billion yuan. More than 9 billion yuan has already been forwarded to the quake-affected areas. The central and local governments have allocated more than 19 billion yuan for rescue and relief work.
