My heart aches when I see pictures of babies in quake-hit areas.
For three days in a row, like all other Chinese people, my mind has been fixed on Wenchuan County.
When I see babies lying on the ground, I wonder what happened to their families.
I can't imagine what would happen if my family lost our little princess, or she lost her Mum and Dad.
On May12, even the capital, Beijing, experienced an earthquake of 3.9 magnitude.
While in Shanghai, Qixiao Mum read on the internet how a mother-to-be, despite being four months pregnant, with no thought for her own condition, ran down more than 20 flights of stairs with her neighbor's son in her arms to save him from the earthquake.
Qixiao Mum's sister-in-law rushed home to take the little princess to a safer place.
Qixiao Mum, with colleagues from four different cities, went to donate blood.
Qixiao Dad and his sister also went to donate blood. It was said that the blood donor center in Beijing was filled to capacity and was asking people to stay away.
People want to give their blood. They think blood is a more precious gift than money.
We hope our blood will save the life a mother or a baby.
We pray for the safety of every family, every baby, every soldier, every nurse and every journalist in the disaster-hit areas!
We also wish our motherland-China well.
