The 2012 cross-Strait agri-tourism communication kicked off on April 19 in Shouguang, Shandong province.
Addressing the themes of ecology, agriculture, tourism, interaction, cooperation and win-win, the meeting runs from April 19 to 22.
Focusing on the modern agricultural cooperation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, the communication aims to develop a highly efficient agriculture and to promote the improvement of cross-strait agri-tourism cooperation.
Leaders, experts and scholars from agricultural circles, and from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, will conduct discussions centering on agri-tourism, rural tourism and agriculturally scientific and technological innovation.
