Sharpshooter Pu Wei, representing Zibo, east China's Shandong Province, won his first national title as he scored 678.1 points to win the men's 10-meter air pistol at the 7th Chinese City Games on Wednesday.

"I am not satisfied with my performance today. There are several shots that ended not well, " said Pu.

Finishing second with 580 points in the preliminaries, the 19-year-old surpassed Xie Chao of Changchun to take the gold, while Zhang Xi from Taiyuan placed third with 676.9.
