Dongying's becomes biggest oil equipment producer

Dongying City, in Shandong Province, has become the nation's base for exporting high-quality oil equipments.
In the first half of the year, the export of screw pumps, special pumps and ultra-deep drilling rigs in Dongying combined to account for over 50 percent of the country's export of these equipments.
The city's oil equipment enterprises possess various advantages of resources such as capital, technology, talents and market. They all benefit the production of large-scale and high-tech equipments such as drilling rigs, nitrogen generating equipments and gas electric generating sets.
In the first half of this year, the city's oil equipment industry reached a production value of 26 billion yuan, and earned US$250 million in export revenue. It has also developed market networks covering over 30 countries and regions.
