Thousands of tourists swarmed into the "Chinese Dead Sea" in Daying County, Sichuan Province, to cool down with indoor surfing on Sunday afternoon.

The "Chinese Dead Sea" is the largest indoor water park in China, according to the People's Daily. The building spans 114 meters and stands 40 meters high. Covering 30,000 square meters, it can accommodate up to ten thousand visitors. Various kinds of water games and recreational facilities provide hours of entertainment in the water park.

The volume of tourists has rebounded to its level before the May 12 earthquake, the report says.
