Residents in eastern Chinese city of Ningbo can enjoy the spring weather in a special way as the second Ningbo kite art festival is currently being held at the city's Wanda Square.

Nearly one thousand kites with designs bearing the five Olympic rings, Fuwa, and Peking opera masks are highlights of the festival that opened on Thursday.

The festival, which will last till April 28, also has an indoor kite flying show. If the weather is fine, the country's largest three-dimensional Fuwa kite will be set flying to greet the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
