The construction of the Shanghai Global Finance
Center(L) is almost completed, rubbing shoulders with Jinmo
Tower.
The construction of the Shanghai Global Finance Center has now
moved to the architectural behemoth's 97th floor, leaving only four
more floors to go to make it the highest building in the world.
With an ever-increasing number of foreign companies flocking
into Shanghai, office buildings at the heart of the city have
become hot property to lease. The mammoth project located in Pudong
District will tower above the city at 101 stories high, making it
the tallest building in the world. With rent set to be placed at
US$3.3 per square meter per day, its office space is set to be the
most expensive in Shanghai.
