Two men fix two steel wire ropes to an inundated BMW sedan as
residents prepare to haul it up onto the bank of a fishing pool in
Zhengzhou, central China's
Henan Province December 12, 2006. The sedan
plunged into the pool on December 10 and the driver was in fair
condition. The direct economic loss is expected to surpass 600,000
yuan (US$75,000). Preliminary reports blamed the over-speeding for
the accident. The cause is under investigation.
