The Disneyland project planned for Shanghai is still undergoing negotiations, Xu Lin, top local official of the Pudong New Area District in Shanghai said yesterday, as reported by China Securities Journal.

Relevant departments of the district have reportedly been urged to carry out comprehensive cooperation to move the project forward. A timeline for the project was reported before but the local official gave no comment.

The Shanghai Disneyland amusement park will cover 8 sq m and become a driving engine for the economic growth of Pudong , including Shanghai.
