Police in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region captured two men suspected of killing five and injuring two others in a burglary, local authorities said Sunday.
Li Yan, 36, and Li Daoliu, 45, both native of Dafeng Township, Shanglin County, were arrested Sunday morning in a hill in Lingyun County, where they had been hiding for two days, according to a spokesman for Lingyun publicity department.
He said the two men were soaked in the rain and suffered injuries when they were found.
Local police had earlier offered a cash reward of 20,000 yuan (2,932 U.S. dollars) for information leading to the arrest of them and a search team of 300 policemen were set up to comb that area.
The burglary happened on Friday at Sicheng Town of Lingyun. The victims included one family with three members and two guests.
An initial investigation showed the two suspects, along with another one named Wen Shengyan who had been arrested one hour after the burglar, were involved in the killing spree.
