The first China Patent Week kicked off Friday in some 20 cities
around China to help make its own patented products speed up their
process of commercialization and industrialization.
Zhang Qin, vice-director of China's State Intellectual Property
Office, said the Patent Week also aims to further develop China's
intellectual property market and promote a more innovative
China.
Zhang said the week, which will also host exhibitions of
patented technologies and products, promotions and forums, serves
as a platform for China's patent trading.
The event will last until November 20.
