The parents of 11 dead students in yesterday's carbon monoxide poisoning case in Shaanxi Province were each given 200,000 yuan (US$28,986) in compensation.
The only survivor, Cai Maomao, is still in Dingbian County Hospital, Sanqing Daily reported today.
Cai's father is still worried about his daughter and wants more experts to examine her, the newspaper said.

Police said they believed a quilt fell on a stove during the night. It caught fire and ignited coal being stored under a bed, Xinhua News Agency said yesterday.
A teacher told Xinhua that heaters and charcoal were provided by the school.
