Class B warrant for suspects of illegal pyramid selling

Chinese Ministry of Public Security issued class B warrant for four suspects of illegal pyramid selling, the Beijing Youth Daily reported in Beijing on Sunday.

The four suspects, Zhou Dalong, Sun Jinsong, Shu Hongyan and Yang Chunmei had illegally sold some sorts of "biological products" for treating tumors, the paper said.

The four suspects were employeed by Beijing Jianshang Hig Tech Co., Ltd, based in northeast Beijing's Shunyi district.

The company was alleged to have sold bee propolis and ganoderma spore powders valued over 27 million yuan (3.71 million U.S. dollars) to 3,976 people in 28 provinces and municipalities.

The police offered a reward of 10,000 yuan each for information leading to their arrests, the paper said.

According to the police, Zhang Jiaping, boss of the company, and another suspect Liu Yingbo were arrested.
