A community in Daoli District of Harbin, Heilongjiang, has
decided establish 30 stations where locals can report domestic
violence to police and lawyers can provide counseling.
These stations are scheduled to go into operation this week to
keep residents, particularly women, who have been victims.
On Thursday, International Women's Day, up to 200 policemen and
lawyers offered legal advice to residents living throughout the
district's 98 communities.
