Class A Arrest Warrant Issued For Jiangxi Gang Leader
Adjust font size:

China's Ministry of Public Security has issued a Class A warrant for the arrest of a 36-year-old man, who is a suspected gang leader in eastern Jiangxi Province.

Police said Liu Yonghua was suspected of having organized a series of crimes including murder, assault and inciting mob disturbances. He disappeared last December.

Anyone who provides information that leads to Liu's arrest will receive a reward of 50,000 yuan (US$ 6,250), according to the warrant.

A class A arrest warrant is issued for suspects wanted in connection with the most serious crimes.

In March 2004, the Public Security Ministry gave a motorcyclist a 200,000 yuan (US$ 24,000) reward for a tip-off that led to the capture of Ma Jiajue in China's southernmost province of Hainan, three weeks after an A-level arrest warrant for his arrest was issued.
