The New Year's Eve Countdown Carnival will be held December 31 in Sha Tin Park in Hong Kong, featuring European musicians and jugglers, a marching band, and tap and flamenco dancers.

An Italian-style castle will be erected in the park, featuring performances and entertainment.

The castle will also be open to the public from 6 PM to 10 PM on December 30 and January 1.

At the Sha Tin Town Hall Plaza, the Toys Theater from Russia will present a performance featuring simple stories with music, dance, body movements and clown shows.

Kataklo Athletic Dance Theater from Italy will showcase their original choreography and music.

The prelude to the Countdown Carnival featuring program highlights will be held December 30 from 4 PM to 6 PM.

In the afternoons, the Equestrian Fun Park will be held at the park's verandah, featuring four exhibitions.
