Five construction workers were killed in Taipei on Sunday night
after a cement form designed to hold wet concrete collapsed and
burying those below it, Taiwan's media reported.
While workers were pouring cement into the form on the first
floor, the form was apparently discovered to be sagging or giving
way on to the floor below. The five workers were sent to inspect
and prop up the form from the floor below. It collapsed on them and
buried them alive, said local police.
An injured worker was not seriously hurt, said police.
