A man in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, donates blood every month because he believes he would become sick if he stops, Yangtze Evening News reported.
The 27-year-old man, surnamed Cao, didn't donate blood for three months and caught a cold. The cold disappeared, he said, after he resumed his donation.
Cao donated blood for the first time in 1998 at his job in Wuxi. He's from Henan province and began to donate blood monthly in 2000.
Doctors said Cao's symptoms could be psychological. And a blood test was also suggested.
