LONDON, Aug.3 (Xinhua) -- Guo Shuang from China won her second cycling track sliver medal in the women's keirin at the London Olympics on Friday.
"The competition was really tactical, and I am glad for the silver medal," Guo said.
Guo Shuang and her teammate Gong Jinjie were relegated to silver medal in Thursday's team sprint event for "illegal changeover".
"Yesterday is past, and I don't want to dwell on it. Gold or silver doesn't really matter," Guo said.
"I raced better than last time in Beijing. At the beginning of each lap I was always in the front. That's different from my usual tactics. This is the plan I made with the coach," she added.
Britain's Victoria Pendleton successfully defended her title in the race. "This is by far the most important victory of my life," she said.
Hong Kong cyclist Lee Wai Sze had the bronze, HK's first medal at the London Olympics. Enditem
