As a famous member of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Zhang Yimou is always crowded by reporters in the meeting venue.

Zhang, who is famous for directing movies like Raise the Red Lantern and Hero, is also the director of the stunning opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and the firework gala of the 60th anniversary of the People's Republic of China last year.
